Deeksharambh-Student Induction Program (2025)

The Student Induction Program is an orientation initiative introduced by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) to help new students adjust to the college environment and build a strong foundation for their academic journey. Usually conducted in the first few weeks of the academic session, the program familiarizes students with the institution’s vision, rules, and resources while encouraging social integration and personal growth.

Key objectives of SIP include:

  • Helping students adapt to the new academic and social environment.
  • Introducing them to the curriculum, teaching methods, and campus facilities.
  • Encouraging interaction among peers, faculty, and senior students to build a sense of community.
  • Promoting values, ethics, and life skills alongside academic readiness.

Typical activities may involve ice-breaking sessions, motivational talks, workshops on life skills, campus tours, cultural events, sports, and sessions on time management, mental well-being, and career planning.

Overall, the Student Induction Program acts as a bridge between school life and higher education, ensuring students start their college journey with confidence and clarity.
